One of the most common questions I get, after print sizes, is:
"Where can I get that frame?" (especially these ones)

I get it. The right frame makes all the difference. Especially when you're going for that modern but warm vibe.
I used to always recommend the Ikea RIBBA frames. It had a clean look and was easy to style with just about anything. But sadly, it’s been discontinued. The newer frames just doesn’t hold up with lots of review mentioning poor quality. If you’re in a pinch and need something inexpensive, it’ll work but I was looking for something better.
So I went on a mission.
Hours of searching, scrolling, comparing...
And now I’ve got a fresh list of modern wood frames that pair beautifully with your nursery prints. These are perfect for all nursery styles from cottage and rustic to minimalist and mid-century.
Let’s start with my favorite!
1. Wavy Poster Hanger (H&M)
This one is just fun.
It’s a magnetic poster hanger style, easy to use and lightweight but with a fun wavy edge giving it a unique and playful feel.
It’s budget-friendly and adds instant personality to the room.
Pairs well with our:
– New Personalized Cars Print
– Whimsical Stacked Animals Print
2. Light Oak Frame with Acrylic Front (Opposite Wall)
A go-to staple.
The light oak finish feels clean and calming. It works in just about any room and grows with your child, swap out prints over time and it still fits right in.
It has an acrylic front which keeps it lightweight and safe (especially in kids’ rooms).
Pairs well with our:
– Sea Animals Alphabet
– Whales Ocean Collection Print
3. Classic Glass Frames (West Elm, Pottery Barn)
If you're looking for a frame that feels a little more high-end and durable, these last few are great picks.
The walnut color frame has a warm, vintage feel and comes with two mat sizes so you can easily adjust it to fit your print. It works well in a nursery with warm, earthy tones or where you want a little contrast against lighter walls and furniture.
Pairs well with our:
– Gingham Border Winnie-the-Pooh print
The grey-washed option has a more weathered, neutral tone. It’s subtle but still adds texture making it easy to pair with both warm and cool color palettes. Also comes with two mat sizes.
Pairs well with our:
– Vintage Wildlflower Sketches
Both have a sturdy glass front which gives them a little more weight and durability from scratches compared to the acrylic styles.
5. Burlwood Gallery Frame (Pottery Barn)
This burlwood frame is a bit wider than the others for a classic frame look and features lots of wood grain swirls and knots which add a cozy, crafted feel. It’s ideal for farmhouse or cottage inspired spaces where you want the natural wood texture to stand out.
Pairs well with our:
– Winnie-the-Pooh Positive Affirmations print (a customer favorite)
– “I love you more than all the fish in the sea” Typography print
Final Thoughts
Each of these frames brings something unique to a nursery, whether it’s a soft wood tone, a bit of playful detail or that effortless look that makes the whole room feel like a designer put it together. And every one of them pairs beautifully with prints from our collection.
